Charter schools are sometimes viewed as a better alternative to the educational system of the public school. The problem lies in how a charter school is funded. Charter schools, just like public schools, are funded the same way – through public funding. Any form of public funding opens the door for mandates on what must be taught and what cannot be taught. East Moline Christian School has never and will never take any public funding. As a result, we are able to teach the truths of God’s Word without apology.
